Hope everyone is prepared for the camping trip to Romania. Only a few weeks left to get whatever bits and bobs you might want or need. Alex, I'm putting you on a safety leash, I'm still worried that you'll either drown yourself or get us arrested. I know, I know. Oh me of little faith. Have a shiny bottle of tequila.

Alright fellow Middle-Earthians. Make sure you clear your calenders during the sixth till the eighth of August. We will be making a trip to Romania, for some good old camping fun. If you want to be excused you're really going to have to come up with something good. Being allergic to tents doesn't count.

Anyone else that wishes to come camping or is up for drunken frivolities, invitations are available from your local Lord of the Rings reincarnates. Betty, let me know whether you'd rather sleep rough or look after a five year old. Or neither. Other arrangements can be made for Will, whatever suits you, darling.

Choosing to move to another country during a public holiday, not the sanest idea I've ever had. Traffic (and the airport) was horrendous. I'll be glad when we've had a chance to settle and the stress disappears.

So, on an unrelated note, is five years old too young to start learning alligator wrestling? Maybe with baby 'gators? Answers on a postcard.

Seems like there's a lot going on, huh? Don't let me interrupt.

Anyway, Betty, where are you right now? I'm thinking of heading back to the States in say, a day or so. I was wondering if you're still around, because I have some surprises to show you. Not least of which is my mastery of Swahili. Anyway, send me a bell to let me know, I'm in England right now so I actually have reception and internet and all those nifty little things that come with 'civilisation'.
